Ethan Menear is a 17 year old student filmmaker based in Cornwall, UK who aspires to work as a Director for feature films.
He has directed various student projects in the past including a short psychological thriller produced with the BFI Film Academy in Plymouth between late 2019 and early 2020 as well as a short comedy film made in association with Dogbite Film Crew in early 2020 but unfortunately the release of the film has been delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. During this outbreak whilst in isolation, he wrote and a directed a short drama at home which will be released in late spring.

Not only has he directed short films, he has written and directed a 5 minute documentary on the generic stereotype that is of teenage skaters. The documentary won an award at a student screening at Cornwall College for "Best Film In Show" and was selected for the Pinewood Lift Off Sessions.
​
Ethan is extremely keen to work in the industry as a director however he is open to any opportunities which would give him more experience on set.
